Learning and Development Manager - Dearborn
The role will work closely with the COO and Managers across our group to develop existing talent within the group, talent acquisition and proactively adviseon and implement Learning and Development Strategies, as well as coordinating all corporate learning and development activities.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on multiple projects using different skill sets with a ‘hands on’ approach. This is a unique standalone HR role—perfect for someone who thrives on variety and meaningful impact.

The role is a group position with regular travel required to Surrey, London and all venues in the group.
Responsibilities:
Working closely with Senior Management to understand and evaluate learning needs and develop learning strategies, training plans and progression plans for employees
Monitor training and development for all staff, nurturing and supporting their development needs and using feedback to further enhance training and development
Independent site visits to be available for 1-1 check ins with employees
Recommend external training providers and courses to develop employment skills
Own and implement succession planning and create a talent management process
Report monthly L&D metrics to COO and HR Representative
Implement an employee training bond policy
Develop and implement an impactful recruitment strategy to meet company hiring needs, including partaking in interviews and headhunting
Onboarding new starters including creating and managing training plans
Build apprentice and internship schemes, including building a network of contacts
Attend local and national recruitment events
Proactively put forward ideas to help the company grow and improve
Upload to and manage the HRM system for training and onboarding
Supporting our HR Representative in day-to-day HR issues and being a first point of contact for questions or queries from managers
Oversee annual review process and follow up / monitoring and assisting managers in working with teams to achieve targets
Requirements:
A knowledge of employment law, more specifically the Equality Act
Experience in embedding Company Culture
CIPD qualified minimum Level 5 or a minimum of 5 years learning and development experience
Experience with HRMS
Driving licence (preferred)
Proactive and hands–on attitude
Package:
23 days annual leave p/a plus bank holidays
40 hours a week (part-time can be considered)

Salary:
£45,000- £50,000
