Housekeeping Room Attendant - Kin House

Overview

Kin House is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and proactive room attendant to join the team in the housekeeping department. We are offering a unique opportunity for someone with experience within the luxury 5* hospitality sector.

Kin House would expect this candidate to maintain the highest standards of house appearance, you will need to have an eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively as well as work under pressure. You will need to demonstrate good communication and customer service skills and provide a warm and friendly service to our guests.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform a variety of cleaning duties across the public areas of the site as well as within the bedrooms.

  • Ensure all bedrooms and the house venue are cared for and cleaned according to company standards.

  • Always work with the highest standards and with a keen eye to spot and report maintenance issues to the manager or supervisors of the department.

  • Deal with reasonable requests with professionalism and patience.

  • Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

  • Maintaining clean and tidy cupboards.

  • Assisting other teams where required.

  • Proactively seeking opportunities to maintain the high standards of property.

Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to work proactively and reactively.

  • Customer-oriented and friendly.

  • Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.

  • Hotel or events venue experience preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.

  • Right to work in the UK is required.

Package:

  • Uniform provided

  • Weekend work required

  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays (pro-rata)

  • Full-time, 8 month fixed-term contract

Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, 5 days in 7

  • Part-time or hourly also available
