Event Manager - Hyde House

Hyde House is a design-led events space nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our exclusive use house boasts 20 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 150 guests for dining. We specialise in crafting unforgettable wedding experiences. The Role
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and detail focused leader who can define the customer experience at Hyde House from an enquiry through to the event. Hyde House would expect this candidate to maintain the highest standards of appearance and efficiency and have a proven ability in an alike role. The Event Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Front of House department daily and working closely with the Events Operations Manager to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all events meet brand standards and consistently exceed client expectations.
Coordinating, and managing a wide range of events at Hyde House, including brand activations, corporate events, private hire stays, weddings, and menu tastings.
Liaise with internal departments (catering, housekeeping, operations, marketing) to continually enhance event execution and identify operational pinch points.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Hyde House products, services, facilities, and seasonal offerings.
Oversee the smooth running of service and supervise the event team on event days, leading by example.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all events, recruit temporary staff when needed, and delegate tasks effectively.
Adhere to company health and safety standards and ensure compliance by all staff.
Support the team in managing client feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary, and implementing solutions.
Coordinate staff schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure all team members are fully briefed before events.
Work in line with event and office procedures to ensure operational consistency.
Compile and deliver daily and weekly event reports to the Event Operations Manager.
Assist the office team with hosting including client viewings, enquiries, and relationship management.
Understand and implement house emergency protocols and work to house procedures and systems.
Good knowledge of venue systems, working closely with event producers and the wider team to ensure events are delivered as planned.
Act as a brand ambassador for Hyde House, representing the house professionally at all times.
Requirements:
1-2 year’s event management
Full UK Driving license
Hours:
45 hours per week over 5 days with 2 days off, including evenings and weekends
